Surgical correction of Poland's syndrome in males – a purposely designed implant

摘要: Summary Objective To present a type of silicone implant for the treatment Poland's syndrome chest wall deformity. Methods An axillary surgical approach was used in order to introduce textured, rectangular-shaped that fabricated three different sizes. Results Since 2001, eight male patients have received implants. Implant displacement occurred only one patient, who later underwent second operation. The remaining seven did not any complications. Conclusion safety technique, overall satisfaction with this and lack significant complications make procedure an interesting option correction deformities patients.
