摘要: Plasmodium is shown to have an inhibition sensitive sphingomyelin synthase activity necessary for ring and early trophozoite maturation. Inhibitors can therefore be used treat malarial infection which differentiate between mammalian synthase. of interest include 1-phenyl-3-morpholino-2-acylated-aminopropanol-1. The development this invention was supported at least in part under NIH grant R01 A126670, BRSG RR05353, by the McArthur foundation. government may rights invention.
