摘要: Background: The purpose of the study was to correlate provisional diagnosis pericoronal radiolucencies associated with impacted, embedded, or unerupted teeth histopathologic diagnosis, and also emphasize importance early detection for better management. Methods: This is a retrospective involving 18 cases unerupted, impacted whose data during 1-year period were retrieved, reviewed clinical, radiological, data. Also, comparison correlation clinico-histopathologic made. Results: Of cases, 11 provisionally diagnosed as dentigerous cyst remaining ameloblastoma, odontogenic keratocyst, adenomatoid tumor, calcifying epithelial cyst. Histopathologic showed varied results, only 10% correlating diagnosis. Conclusion: Although many pathological processes may present radiographically teeth, most common Hence, it crucial clinician fully investigate all that fail erupt at expected time, promptly initiate appropriate assessment management suspected cystic lesions.
