摘要: Considers the problems of a multi‐disciplinary team working together to understand and evaluate healthcare information system, which itself is situated in complex organisational political environment. Provides general discussion faced by evaluators such systems. Describes this specific evaluation project (Electronic Patient Records UK National Health Service), gives an account process as it occurred, highlights some encountered, discusses attempts overcome these. Suggests that social, factors are inherent all research enterprises, order facilitate rich understanding systems, these must also be considered part data.
