摘要: At a locality at 32-m depth in Oslofjord, Norway, temperature varied from 4.8° to 9.2°C and salinity 31.2 33.3‰ S over two-year period. There was peak chlorophyll a, C N April–June smaller November the sediment. Bacterial numbers showed maxima July–August November–December. The macrobenthic fauna typical of species-rich undisturbed boreal community silt-clay sediments. predominantly composed surface subsurface deposit feeders. Over twoyear period there little variation numerical abundance or biomass species despite food input. lack seasonality shown by probably relates variability physical environment. mechanism which this control is achieved, however, not known. are large predators/disturbers such as polychaetes Lumbrineris fragilis, Glycera rouxii, G. alba, Nephthys spp. echinoid Brissopsis lyrifera, play an important role structuring community.
