摘要: Abstract An iterative finite-element method is developed for determining stresses and strains near pin-loaded holes in finite orthotropic plates. The work was motivated by the desire to analyze mechanical joints wood. While a linear stress-strain relationship assumed, are nonlinear with load due increasing area of pin-plate contact applied load. A rigid pin considered, friction clearance accounted for. pressure distribution evaluated rather than assumed. Numerically predicted results agree well those measured experimentally.
