摘要: Bcl-2 protein expression has been found to block apoptosis and its overexpression implicated in lymphoid malignancies where the chromosomal translocation t(14;18) is present. In this study we investigated bcl-2 transcription cultured cervical carcinoma cell lines keratinocytes. Western blotting immunofluorescence microscopy demonstrated cytoplasm of 4 out 5 examined (HeLa, CaSki, C-33A, HT-3, but not SiHa). was undetectable normal None or rearrangement at major breakpoint-cluster region (MBR) gene using either Southern blot polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analyses. Northern analysis low levels HeLa, C-33A while reverse transcriptase (RT)-PCR all which had expression. Thus, these data suggest that occurs absence gene. However, each contains inactive p53, due mutation (C-33A HT-3) via complexation degradation with human papillomavirus (HPV) 16/18 E6 (HeLa CaSki). functional can induce certain cells, present cells have increased Increased under conditions p53 inactivation may provide a selective advantage for survival consequently play role development carcinogenesis.
