Active Suppression of Low-frequency Interference Currents by Implementation of the High-performance Control System for the Grid-interfaced Converters

摘要: Operation of traction drive and auxiliary power supply converters installed onboard modern vehicles causes increased content line harmonics interharmonic components in the current. Passive techniques for filtration low frequency interference currents appeared to be insufficient, but are combined with active mitigation techniques. The paper describes suggests suppression methods based on proper design grid interface converter its corresponding control system. Interference currents, including those induced by operation can significantly influence correct telecommunication, train systems other railway signaling infrastructure along tracks, having direct impact safety transport. Therefore, low-frequency requires careful implementation active/passive methods. For purpose quality evaluation performances system particular, a series tests assessment current spectrum, resulting from typical exploitation conditions, were performed. Tests performed laboratory conditions vehicle, satisfactory results.
