摘要: A preliminary study of the feasibility using geophysical exploration methods to locate abandoned wells containing steel casing indicated that magnetic promise be effective and some electrical techniques might useful as auxiliary methods. Ground measurements made in vicinity several known cased yielded total field anomalies with peak values ranging from about 1,500 6,000 gammas. The measured on ground are very narrow and, considering noise due other cultural geologic sources, a line spacing order 50 feet (15.2m) would necessary all casings test area.
