摘要: Objectives This study was an ex vivo evaluation of the marginal adaptation mineral trioxide aggregate as apical barrier using teeth with open apex and scanning electron microscopy. Materials methods Eighteen single-rooted human were used. An artificial created Gates Glidden drills #6–1 in a crown-down manner until #1 bur passed through foramen. A 1.36-mm divergent at foramen by retrograde transportation #40 Profile 0.6 taper instrument inserted to length cutting blade. The divided into four groups (n = 4), two served controls. GI = mineral (MTA) placed 5-mm-thick without removal smear layer; GII = MTA indirect ultrasonic activation; GIII = apical plug after layer GIV = MTA activation, but had been previously removed. root apices visualized SEM (1000×), 12 predetermined material/dentine interface points measured (gaps). One-way anova Bonferroni's post hoc tests used compare linear measurements gaps between groups. Results GIV lowest gap when compared other groups, no statistical differences found among GI, GII, GIII. Conclusions The technique placement passive vibration association improved material.
