摘要: The kinetics of periodate oxidation cellulose was followed by exploiting the β-alkoxy degradation oxidised units in alkaline medium, that brings about a decrease viscometric degree polymerisation. parallel strong weight loss after NaOH treatment indicates non-random mechanism oxidation. obtained results are interpreted on basis an appositely derived kinetic model can be applied to other mechanisms bulk and surface degradation.
