摘要: Three recent updates (Emsley, Ding & Wang and Calvini) of the old Ekenstam equation applied to degradation cellulose have been analysed using (1) internal coherence, (2) boundary conditions (3) physical meaning. The Ekenstam, Emsley Calvini equations belong same class (random scissions), while appears be tracking a different mechanism (peeling/stopping). analysis allowed deeper insight into these as well some upgrades their original versions.
