摘要: Rapid economic growth and rising income levels have driven private vehicle sales in China. Within just three decades, China has developed to the world’s largest automobile market. This thesis aims at determining factors which affect passenger populations Chinese cities. An OLS regression using cross-sectional data reveals that large variations exist across cities eastern, central western On national level, total population of a city negative impact on available roadway is enhancing levels. Private are detached from other modes transportation due psychosocial value car ownership. Policy makers need adapt contemporary developments integrate ensure development sustainable urban transportation.
