摘要: SUMMARY This report describes in detail the technique of orthotopic liver transplantation syngeneic rats which are relatively inexpensive and readily available. We also long-term survival function these grafts. The involves use a miniaturized extracorporeal portal to jugular shunt. donor is perfused cooled. Implantation accomplished using standard microvascular suture techniques. Successful transplants were performed 47 64 rats. Long-term up 14 months was achieved seven animals. Liver measured by serial determination bilirubin, serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT), alkaline phosphatase. Elevations bilirubin SGOT immediate postoperative period returned normal second week. Marked variations seen phosphatase values, there slow return levels. Open biopsies on survivors at 3, 5, 7 revealed essentially parenchyma, with slight mononuclear infiltration spaces some sinusoidal dilatation. practicability transplant organ preservation, advantages inbred rat as experimental animal discussed.
