摘要: Abstract A simple technique for improving the resolution of closely sized particles in Coulter counting is described. The method consists feeding suspension to be measured from a ∼ 30 μ diameter hole positioned 2 4 mm aperture device. Both tubes are immersed bath particle-free electrolyte. When electrolyte sucked through sensing usual way, stream tube containing accelerated and thinned so that all travel essentially same streamline, consequently have uniformity approach passage aperture. focusing found improve significantly representation particle size distribution as judged distributions Dow latex microspheres which known extremely uniform size.
