摘要: The effect of a hormic dose UV-C (254 nm) on changes in fruit firmness and cell wall-degrading enzyme (CWDE) activity was determined using tomato fruit. Throughout the storage period, decrease jointly observed with an increase CWDE (polygalacturonase, pectin methyl esterase, cellulase, xylanase, beta-D-galactosidase, protease) for all treatments, suggesting involvement these enzymes ripening process. However, enhancement significantly less subjected to UV-C. This reduction may explain why irradiated were firmer than control consequently how could delay senescence We suggest that are one targets UV-C, by this action, irradiation contributed wall degradation retarded softening tissues.
