摘要: The ability to image the pancreatic islet in vivo would enhance our understanding of diabetes and accelerate improvements transplantation. However, small size islets their diffuse distribution (both natively after transplantation) present formidable challenges for current imaging techniques. This article reviews relative merits shortcomings several modalities humans animal models diabetes.
