摘要: Abstract The preparation and characterization of Ca-alginate microspheres obtained by a new procedure from alginic acid, treated with an excess NaOH subsequently very concentrated solution CaCl 2 are described. produced particles have spherical shape average diameter 350 μ m. show relative dense homogeneous internal structure in comparison previously reported alginate microcapsules (the bulk density being 0.47 g/cm 3 ), consequently the particle matrix is characterized high charged carboxylic groups. Particles contact time 1 h showed degree crosslinking 54%. Microspheres good stability, despite low swelling, they solvents regain, excellent ionic binding capacity cationic drugs. After beads were loaded complexation antitumor aromatic tetramidine. In addition, vitro release drug has been studied.
