摘要: Cutting tool wear is found to be the major cause affecting finished product in term of surface finish quality, dimensional precision and cost defect. This paper proposes development a reliable machine condition monitoring system by using low-cost piezoelectric sensor monitor flank progression on cutting tool. The insert was measured recorded Mitutoyo microscope under different operational conditions turning process. A single channel mounted at holder measure deflection tangential direction during machining signal transmitted amplifier device, then data acquisition finally computer system. I-kaz Multilevel method used identify characterize changes signals from sensor. Under experimental set up, new models were successfully formulated. Good agreements between predicted land width show that developed can accurately predict wear. an efficient for level prediction which real industry.
