摘要: Several variants of combined dynamic travel models in discrete time with user equilibrium or system optimality as the assignment objective have been presented recently. This modeling approach is converted into quasi-continuous time, which enables two key model improvements : (a) traffic volumes are spread over intervals continuous allowing trips to be split among successive intervals, and (b) first-in first-out ordering between all zone pairs more precisely maintained. The means by capacity losses approximated on upstream links caused spillback queueing from oversaturated accidents also described. Trips assumed scheduled departure times variable arrival times, but notational variations other forms briefly mentioned. Application this a Denver-area network comparison results observed speeds described elsewhere.
