摘要: Abstract Glutamate is an important excitatory neurotransmitter, and vesicular glutamate transporters (VGLUTs) are critical in regulating the extent of release. Because initial increase late stage decrease VGLUT expression were implicated progressive Alzheimer’s disease (AD), VGLUTs can be a new imaging target for diagnosing AD. In this study, we have designed synthesized multimodal gadolinium contrast agent conjugated with rose bengal to (Gd-DO3A-RB). addition high kinetic pH stability, magnetic resonance fluorescence using Gd-DO3A-RB showed affinity VGLUT1. Using AD animal model (5XFAD), vivo MRI less MR signal enhancement 5XFAD mouse brain than that age-matched normal C57BL/6 mouse, suggesting model. Therefore, targeting demonstrated strong potential as diagnostic tool capability.
