摘要: This study was designed to investigate whether the Notch pathway is involved in development of diffuse spinal cord astrocytomas. BALB/c nude mice received injections CD133(+) and CD133(-) cell suspensions prepared using human recurrent astrocytoma tissue through administration into right parietal lobe. After 7-11 weeks, magnetic resonance imaging performed weekly. Xenografts were observed on surfaces brains receiving suspension, Notch-immunopositive expression xenografts. By contrast, no xenografts appeared identical position hardly detected either. Hematoxylin-eosin staining immunohistochemical revealed convex that underwent transplantation. Some sporadic astroglioma cells showed pseudopodium-like structures, which extended cerebral white matter. However, it should be emphasized subcortex xenograft with found fourth mouse injection cells. these findings suggest plays an important role formation astrocytomas, can considered a novel treatment target for astrocytoma.
