摘要: INTRODUCTION In the study we investigated association between IGFs, their binding proteins and pathogenesis as well prognostic factors of relapse childhood ALL. MATERIAL AND METHODS 43 children suffering from ALL, observed 7 cases relapse. We studied serum levels IGF-I, IGF-II, IGFBP-3 IGFBP-2 (expressed in SDS) a subgroup with (A) without (B) at diagnosis (1), after induction remission (2) intensive chemotherapy (3). All comparisons were made age-and sex-matched controls. RESULTS It was found that A, values remained high each stage investigation: 3.92 +/- 2.50 (1) 3.68 0.99 3.52 1.26 (3), whereas B they underwent significant reduction 3.87 1.86 3.45 1.25 2.15 1.84 p = 0.02. comparison to control group, correlations IGF-I IGFBP-3, IGF-1 disturbed for whole group investigation. However, obserwed negative correlation hemoglobin (r -0.57 0.0001). CONCLUSION Increased who subsequently disease, suggest might constitute prognosis factor. this requires verification larger children. The further involvement protein process leukemogenesis
