摘要: The purpose of this review is to analyse the sources and effects follicular progesterone elevations during ovarian stimulation, with underlying mechanisms preventive strategies on in vitro fertilisation pregnancy outcome. In early phase, a flare-up effect gonadotrophin releasing hormone (GnRH) agonists incomplete luteolysis GnRH antagonist regimens can result significant progesterone. late analogue cycles are stimulation itself, driven by high follicle stimulating dosage, estradiol levels, number follicles oocytes. It seems that (> or = 1.5 ng/mL 4.77 nmol/L) have detrimental outcome pregnancy, accelerating endometrial maturation. most appropriate choice avoid negative cancel fresh embryo transfer frozen-thawed embryos natural cycles. To prevent phase it might be preferable use milder protocols, earlier trigger ovulation responders single-blastocyst day 5. optimal protocols entire period appear long agonist as well "long" regimens.
