摘要: Background and objective Deficiency of vitamin D could be a major cause colon cancer as suggested early 1980 by Drs. Cedric Frank Garland the University California has recently been underscored large European case control study. Whether deficiency is because inadequate intake (food sunshine) or metabolism disorder in patient body unknown. A proteomics approach to identify protein pathways associated with transportation will help us understand better pathology cancer. Methods Lysates adenocarcinoma tissues their matched healthy tissues, from seven patients, have evaluated quantitative bioinformatics analysis determine expression profiles. Unsupervised hierarchical clustering principle component (PCA) were utilized for profiling biomarker identification, while reporter ion ratios tandem-mass-tagging (TMT) labeled peptides used quantification. Ingenuity Pathway Analysis (IPA) was analyze pathways. Results conclusion Proteomics analyses demonstrated that proteins involved D/E binding, heme/iron binding transportation, lipid/steroid transportation/metabolic systems down-regulated same set LXR/RXR activation acute-phase response pathways, revealing plausible mechanistic connection between deficiency, iron homeostasis,
