摘要: We fabricated large size alginate beads using a simple microfluidic device under co-axial injection regime. This was made by PDMS casting with mold formed small diameter metal and polytetrafluorothylene tubes. Droplets of 2% sodium were generated in soybean oil through the then cross-linked CaCl2 solution, which mixed tween80 at concentration 0.4 to 40% (w/v). Our results showed that morphology produced strongly depends on concentration. With increase tween80, shape varied from semi-spherical tailed-spherical, due decrease interface tension between cross-link solution. To access biocompatibility approach, MCF-7 cells cultured beads, showing formation cancer clusters might be useful for future studies.
