摘要: An open, randomized, prospective study was carried out to compare the clinical efficacy and safety of phenoxymethylpenicillin with that minocycline in treatment erythema migrans. Sixty patients (minocycline 30, penicillin 30) were enrolled study. The two groups statistically homogeneous regarding age sex distribution. IgG IgM antibodies against Borrelia burgdorferi determined by ELISA before after 1 year thereafter. Thirty-nine completed All these (penicillin 21, 18) who received a 21-day course free symptoms late Lyme borreliosis year. Serum B. could be detected 6/21 treated 3/18 minocycline. After 8/39 seropositive without any evidence ongoing disease. In remaining 21 not initial antibiotic due side effects 9/30, 12/30). One patient, stopped at day 14 one patient 4, developed fatigue memory impairment within observation period. A 3-week or is equally effective treating migrans preventing borreliosis.
