摘要: Seventeen children previously judged to be good or poor responders methylphenidate (Ritalin) were tested on sensory integrative measures while in the off-drug state. The tester was unaware of children's drug response category. Results showed that who Ritalin prolonged scores and an adverse reaction Southern California Postrotary Nystagmus Test had poorer equilibrium reactions lower double tactile stimuli than Ritalin. These findings suggest it might possible identify before medication is given, something not thought possible. current method for making this distinction through a trial. also indicate there are at least two discernible types hyperactivity associated with attention deficit disorders (ADD) theoretically related differences vestibular processing: one underaroused overinhibited brain centers, another deficient inhibition from higher centers. appear group, same population responds occupational therapy techniques. This implies perhaps could used reduce needs these children.
