摘要: Sensory processing problems in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder have been the focus of many studies recent years. It is obvious that different aspects sensory such as tactile are involved disorder. However, whether information process can be factors decision making regarding pharmacological management has not researched. This case report presents two The mother first patient reported her child's ability for detecting, identifying, and discriminating smells was very high more than other at this age. As she reported, child also liked to touch everything everybody. He experienced nail biting after taking 20mg methylphenidate single dosage. By decreasing dosage, disappeared three trials. started lip about half an hour dosage medication. continued four hours. suggests there association between possible induces or exacerbates hyposensitivity. If assumption supported controlled clinical trials, then assessment might help make decisions Further should investigate a phenotype overlap autistic disorders which stimulants may exacerbate some problems. Also, if case, diagnosis exclusionary criterion pervasive developmental needs revised.
