摘要: Nickel/Nickel oxide (Ni/NiO) nanoparticles catalyst is prepared by microwave-assisted liquid-phase deposition using ethylene glycol (EG) and water mixture under atmospheric conditions. The physicochemical characterizations of the carried out surface area analyzer, x-ray diffraction (XRD), photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), electron microscopes measurements suggest formation crystalline structure NiO. Ni/NiO EG/water reaches 70 m2 g−1 which 2-fold enhsancement in comparison with NiO pure EG an order magnitude higher than that bulk nickel water. methanol electro-oxidation activity obtained displayed more 4-fold increase oxidation current at 1.7 V versus RHE 20-fold compared to concord enhancement electro-active area. results show produced microwave assisted synthesis has superior for alkaline solution over other based catalysts potential mass production.
