摘要: A mesoporous nickel/nickel hydroxide (Ni/Ni(OH) 2 ) catalyst was prepared by chemical reduction of nickel ions dissolved in the interstitial spaces hexagonal liquid crystalline template non-ionic surfactant Brij56. The physicochemical characterizations performed surface area analyzer, X-ray diffraction, scanning and transmission electron microscopes suggests formation a structure Ni/Ni(OH) with 90 ± 3 m /g. This is an order magnitude higher than that for particles formed without template. electrochemical behavior ethanol oxidation catalytic activity investigated cyclic voltammetry chronoamperometry techniques alkaline medium. shows more 10-fold increase compared to bulk (formed surfactant) consistent enhancement electro-active area. Bulk liquid-crystal deposition offers reproducible platform fabricate metal/oxides/hydroxides enhanced electrocatalytic performance.
