摘要: A number of recent advances in the field magic-angle-spinning (MAS) solid-state NMR have enabled its application to a range biological systems ever increasing complexity. To retain relevance, these samples are increasingly studied hydrated state. At same time, experimental feasibility requires sample preparation process attain high concentration within final MAS rotor. We discuss considerations, and how they led different approaches preparation. describe our experience custom-made (or commercially available) ultracentrifugal devices can facilitate simple, fast reliable process. groups since adopted such tools, some cases prepare for sedimentation-style experiments. Here we argue more widespread adoption their use routine
