摘要: Descemet's membrane consists of two zones, the ‘anterior banded zone’ which contains wide-spaced collagen and amorphous ‘posterior non-banded zone’. It is attached anteriorly to corneal stroma by a narrow transitional zone termed ‘interfacial matrix’.The distribution fibronectin P component within different layers was investigated using an ultrastructural immunogold technique. Seven normal human corneas from eye bank one specimen orbital exenteration were examined.Fibronectin predominantly present in posterior part anterior zone.
