摘要: AbstractPurpose/Aim of the study: An immunoperoxidase cytochemical study fibronectin localization in rat corneal stroma and Descemet’s membrane was conducted following organ culture to determine whether stromal swelling allowed better primary antibody penetration into normally tough fibrous stroma.Materials Methods: Following 24 h culture, corneas were fixed 4% paraformaldehyde, washed stained overnight at 4 °C anti-fibronectin followed by washing incubation an appropriate secondary exposure protein A-HRP. Cytochemical processing carried out a DAB-containing medium dehydration Epon embedding.Results: Observations lamellae revealed presence novel punctate staining pattern along length collagen fibrils that extended around fibril’s circumference.
