摘要: The paper seeks to broaden concerns about dignity at work beyond issues of bullying and harassment the whole range circumstances which support or tend undermine employees' dignity, argues for their consideration by critical management studies. It does so drawing both upon empirical studies moral philosophy improve understanding nature sources dignity. deals first with relationship autonomy, dependence, seriousness trust, discusses how respect might be maintained in a context instrumental relations others are dominant. then examines difference that inequalities make maintenance addresses ways particular kinds afford employees it difficult maintain. conclusion summarizes main can supported.
