Impacts of biodiesel production on Croatian economy

摘要: The aim of this paper is to assess the direct and indirect impacts on a national economy from biodiesel (rapeseed methyl ester (RME)) production using input-output (I-O) analysis. Biodiesel development in Croatia used as case study. For Croatia, for many other countries Europe, new activity not included existing I-O sectoral accounts. reason table has be modified accordingly before being able quantify effect an exogenous demand biodiesel. Impacts terms output, income employment lead conclusion that could have significant positive net impact Croatian despite high level subsidies rapeseed growing.
