摘要: Abstract For the first time in this study, antioxidant effects of pigment produced by Dietzia natronolimnaea HS-1 terms 1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2′-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) (ABTS) and hydroxyl radicals scavenging capacities, reducing power (RP) nitrite activity (NSA) batch, fed-batch continuous cultivation systems were compared. HPLC analysis showed that bacterium accumulated canthaxanthin (CTX) as predominant carotenoid. Continuous was found to be best bioprocess for extracting biomass dry weight (BDW, 12.65 g/L), total carotenoid (21.52 mg/L) CTX (19.58 mg/L) with favorable characteristics when compared batch cultivations. The synthesized culture effectively scavenged DPPH, ABTS radicals, higher concentrations indicated potent RP NSA a dose-dependent manner. DPPH assay strongly correlated radical-scavenging ( r 2 = 0.867), = 0.906) = 0.860) values p
