摘要: InterPro (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/interpro/) is an integrated documentation resource for protein families, domains and sites, developed initially as a means of rationalizing the complementary efforts PROSITE, PRINTS, Pfam ProDom database projects. It useful that aids functional classification proteins. Almost 90% theactinopterygii sequences from SWISS-PROT TrEMBL can be classified using InterPro. Over 30% currently in are mitochondrial origin, majority which belong to cytochrome b/b6 family. also gives insights into domain composition proteins has applications newly determined lacking biochemical characterization, comparative genome analysis. A comparison against other eukaryotes confirms high representation eukaryotic kinase organisms studied. The comparisons show that, based on thetrans-species evolution MHC class I II molecules mammals teleost fish recognized.
