摘要: Myoclonus describes a movement disorder characterised by brief, abrupt and involuntary contractions of muscles or groups muscles, usually associated with intracranial lesions, limited evidence linking it to spinal pathologies. The pathophysiology myoclonus is extensive multifactorial. Infection, intramedullary extramedullary space-occupying trauma, vascular abnormalities, degenerative processes cervical spondylosis have been implicated the disease, latter stenosis no reported cases an underlying disc herniation. Although medical therapy clonazepam, levetiracetam, valproate, tetrabenazine hydrochloride block injections has equivocal, secondary herniation requires surgical intervention. This report case segmental myoclonus, herniated intervertebral disc. After corpectomy cage-augmented fusion technique, myoclonic symptoms resolved. To our knowledge, this was first describe successful management discogenic surgery.
