摘要: Three classes of phosphotransferase system mutants in Salmonella typhimurium were selected through their resistance to 3-deoxy-3-fluoro-D-glucose (DFG). Strains with mutations the ptsH (HPr) and/or pts I (enzyme I) genes on medium containing lactate plus DFG. but not pstI fructose Clones isolated from DFG semisolid plates and for ability swarm mutant either or ptsG. Mutants latter class defective enzyme IIB', a membrane component glucose transport system. Some pleiotropic properties one representative ptsG are described.
