摘要: We have isolated and characterized a human genomic clone containing the complete coding region of lens intrinsic membrane protein MP70 (Cx50). The this DNA is completely contained within one exon, as common all connexins investigated to date. size Cx50 region, from initiating ATG terminating TGA 1,299 nucleotides, for polypeptide 432 amino acids having translated molecular weight 48,171 daltons.
