摘要: Abstract Manganese dioxide electrodes are known to be rechargeable only under conditions of shallow depth discharge not exceeding a fraction one-electron capacity. Even these some 50–100 cycles can obtained. In the present work “chemically modified” manganese oxide materials described which have no inherent limitations their cycle-life even deep reaching 80–95% theoretical two-electron capacity in each cycle. The unique properties include also capability high current drains and insensitivity overdischarge overcharge. Methods preparation, physico-chemical characteristics electrochemical behavior described. Possible interpretations effects chemical modification on electrode rechargeability discussed.
