Wigner solid versus incompressible Fermi liquid: phase diagram derived from time-resolved photoluminescence

摘要: Abstract We have made the first measurements of time-resolved luminescence two-dimensional electrons confined in GaAs/AlGaAs heterojunctions regime Wigner crystallization. find that recombination time for pinned Wigner-solid phase is up to several orders magnitude longer than liquid phase. The different scales allow us investigate properties and solid phases independently derive a diagram
