摘要: This disclosure is directed to techniques for facilitating return path compliance in networks. A device, such as an optical network terminal (ONT), may, example, buffer a digital representation of upstream analog signal facilitate specified by Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS) 3.0 standard. The ONT may comprise first conversion module that converts into corresponding and detection determines whether the represents valid communication. device further buffers while makes determination, second buffered reconverted upon determination laser transmits via fiber cable.
