摘要: A cable modem with an embedded video transmitter for supporting all-IP end-to-end services in a network is disclosed. provided converter/modulator feature. The receives Internet protocol (IP) packets carrying streams from network. extractor the extracts IP packets, and modulator modulates extracted per format supported by customer premise equipment (CPE). then sends modulated to CPE. With this feature, may be implemented without being dependent on existing CPE's capability at premises.
