摘要: Response inhibition processes are important for performance monitoring and mediated via a network constituted by different cortical areas basal ganglia nuclei. At the level, striatal GABAergic medium spiny neurons known to be response selection, but importance of system remains elusive. Using novel combination behavior al, EEG magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) data, we examine relevance processes. The study shows that GABA levels modulate efficacy Higher were related better performance. We show specific subprocesses pre-motor inhibitory through modulation neuronal synchronization To our knowledge, this is first providing direct evidence functions their electrophysiological correlates in humans.
