摘要: This interdisciplinary, social scientific analysis of the regulatory discourse on nanotechnology in three German-speaking countries Germany, Austria and Switzerland EU between 2000 2013 has shown distinct phases, characterised by shifts configuration actors thematic scope from to nano-materials. Compared modes governance based traditional statutory law, less binding forms soft law self-regulation (like codes conduct, guidelines certification systems) new assessment studies, risk management frameworks as well participatory cooperative communication negotiation) have gained importance. Despite some similarities, two different cultures governing canbe distinguished: aproduct-oriented culture regulations (when speaking about products, article is also referring substances) a risk-based applying governance. In addition, led four strategic approaches: mainly hard at level, self-regulatory approaches Switzerland.
