摘要: This paper describes a new theory of activity therapy for the regressed elderly. It utilizes a developmental approach and adaptive equipment as method to promote movement. A pilot study was completed on 22 patients determine effect this program on functional fitness levels. Significant improvements were found in strength, flexibility and ambulation. The findings suggest that therapists have great opportunity improve the quality life very old, if active developmental programs are implemented.
