摘要: Abstract Many past critiques have noted that experimental research has been underutilized in the study of leisure and recreation. This paper undertook a content analysis studies published from 1985 to 1989 which revealed experiments are still not widely reported most recreation journals. It also outlined potential, purpose application methodology argued useful for description but relations development law-like statements. Methodological issues including internal external validity, randomization control, experimenter effects were examined. Examples drawn used illustrate utility point out strategies improving future efforts.
