摘要: The effect of taeniid infection on the in vitro cellular response host was investigated. Infections ofTaenia taeniaeformis decreased ability spleen cells from susceptible C3H/He mice to respond T-cell mitogen concanavalin A (Con A) as early 2 days postinfection (pi) reaching a suppression peak at day 12 pi. Similar experiments performed with infected BALB/c mice, resistant infection, revealed little or no Con stimulation. results suggested that susceptibility parasite may be due its induce partial host's immune system. role adherent splenocytes production deficient during studied by coculturing experiments. These demonstrated populations did not play direct A-suppressor mechanisms. Concomitant suppressor activity an increased background proliferation observed nonstirnulated withT. taeniaeformis. Plasma able suppress normal and stimulate proliferative cultured noninfected animals. suggest presence factors plasma which modulating parasite.
